Thanks to the two-stage reduction gearbox, it offers a particularly high cutting performance, while the patented Metabo handle system with additional switch enables up to 50% more reach. Despite their power, the hedge trimmers are lightweight and therefore ensure effortless working. Safety is a top priority with the Metabo HS 8875. The patented mechanical quick-stop blade stops in just 0.05 seconds, which increases safety. The special blade geometry also ensures low wear and a 200% longer service life. The diamond-ground blade teeth on both sides at an angle of 30° ensure a clean cut, while the safety lower blade guarantees work safety. The Metabo S-automatic safety clutch protects the blade and gearbox from blockages caused by foreign objects. The ergonomically shaped bow handle and optimum centre of gravity make working with the hedge trimmer less tiring. The counter-rotating shear blades ensure optimum running smoothness, while the user-friendly guidance of the machine exhaust air ensures a pleasant working environment.
