The Makita DDF 490 cordless drill driver offers the perfect combination of power, compactness and handling. Equipped with a brushless motor, this model delivers a maximum torque of 65 Nm, making it ideal for demanding drilling and screwdriving tasks. The mechanical 2-speed gearbox allows precise speed adjustment, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in different materials. Stepless speed control via the trigger also ensures precise control during use. The cordless drill/driver is equipped with a quick-release drill chuck that allows bits to be changed quickly, which significantly speeds up the work process. Thanks to eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT), the DDF 490 is well protected against dust and water, ensuring reliable operation even under extreme conditions. The right/left switch has been ergonomically and conveniently positioned for easy operation. An integrated LED light with pre- and post-glow function ensures that the work area is well lit even in poor lighting conditions, enabling precise work. The electric brake not only contributes to user safety, but also ensures that work can be resumed quickly, thus maximising productivity. In addition, the DDF 490 is equipped with a battery protection system that automatically cuts off the power supply when the battery level becomes too low, extending the battery life and preventing unexpected interruptions to work.
