Product Description:
LOCTITE SI 5331 is a highly effective, liquid thread sealant that can be used universally for sealing metal and plastic threads. This specially developed sealant cures at ambient temperatures under the influence of atmospheric humidity and forms a low-strength, flexible seal that is resistant to both hot and cold water. LOCTITE® SI 5331 is particularly suitable for applications in water-bearing pipe systems and fittings found in industrial, agricultural and domestic installations. The medium-viscosity adhesive is ideal for securing and sealing hot and cold water-carrying plastic and metal threads and fittings. Particularly noteworthy is the WRC approval and fulfilment of the BS 6920 standard for drinking water. The product also has DVGW approval (0706521) and is tested in accordance with EN 751-1. In addition, it carries NSF Reg. No. 123620, which confirms its safety and suitability for use in drinking water systems. With LOCTITE® SI 5331, you can count on a reliable, durable sealing solution that remains consistent and flexible in a wide variety of water-bearing applications.
