The DeWalt DWE 4217 KD angle grinder offers improved efficiency thanks to a new motor architecture and a cooling air intake without an additional fan wheel. With restart protection and an optimally positioned spindle lock, it is safe and easy to use. Its motor with a very high copper content ensures powerful performance, while a special flange nut enables simple and safe disc changes. The flat gear housing allows use in confined spaces. Self-shutting carbon brushes extend the motor service life, while a special "Jetstream" cooling air duct protects the motor and increases the service life of the device. The tool-free quick adjustment of the protective bonnet enables versatile use, and the compact design makes it handy and easy to handle. With an electronic soft start and a winding armoured with epoxy resin, this angle grinder offers additional safety and durability.
